सुभाषितम् - दुर्लभः योग्यकः

नाक्षरं मन्त्ररहितं न मूलं नौषधिम् ।
अयोग्यपुरुषं नास्ति योजकः तत्र दुर्लभः ॥

न - there is no अक्षरं (१) that is मन्त्र-रहितं (मन्त्रं) - forsaken in mantra, न - nor मूलम् (२) - root which is न - not present in [some] औषधम् (२) - medicine. [So also] नास्ति - there is no अयोग्य-पुरुषं (पुरुषः, २) - useless person तत्र - there दुर्लभः - unlucky (inefficient) योजकः - user (manager).

There is no letter forsaken in all mantras;
there is no root which cannot be used in some medicine;
So also, there is no useless person;
Only the ignorant one who cannot use what he has.
